ON DIGITAL IMAGING
Professional Digital Imaging has in several ways advantages over photography on film.
After Digital Capture the images are immediately transferred to Computer Harddisk and can be viewed on a monitor. It is important to understand that one is subsequently relating to an "original capture" and not to a "polaroid testshot".
If desired, composition, lighting or other properties of the image can be immediately adjusted.
The shot can be cropped, if necessary retouched and converted to Cmyk for printing, using standard profiles like EURO Neg/Pos or using customised profiles. All our delivered files will have a standard printers- proof, on BESTcolor, supplied.
In a day it is possible to have a product photographed, and also have an image-file converted and ready for printing supplied on cd-rom.
Professional Digital Photography will render high-quality images and give the photographer a more complete control over the parameters that influence the way a photograph reproduces on a printing press.
Our Digital Camera-system from MegaVision can be fitted both to our 4,5x6 MamiyaPro and to our Sinar 4x5' technical camera. this will subsequently give similar control over the photographic parameters as photography on film. Using a PowerBook-computer both configurations can be used on location.
